Dear Prairie Creek neighbors,
We hope this letter finds you and your families healthy and safe. Each year our local Garden Club offers a variety of flowers and bulbs to our community for purchase. The flowers not only help to make our neighborhood a beautiful place to live, but also help to fund future beautification endeavors and projects.
We understand this year will look different than most due to the global pandemic we are facing. In being sensitive to our current climate, we will hold our local flower sale completely online and will provide a contactless delivery of the flowers to your doorstep. Your support is more important now than ever to continue to beautify and improve the community we all live in.
In addition, this 2020-2021 season is a special one as our Prairie Creek Garden Club celebrates its 50th Anniversary! The Garden Club legacy includes decades of park improvements including park bridges, walking trails, park plantings, forestry redevelopment, gardening activities for Prairie Creek Elementary and park upkeep and maintenance.
We wanted to share just a few of our 50 years of special projects and endeavors:
Prairie Creek Park Butterfly Garden: This pocket park provides a natural setting for butterflies to gather and a serene environment for the neighborhood to enjoy. We hope you will stop by soon.
Discovery Point: Adjacent to Prairie Creek Elementary, this space was created as an area for teachers and families alike to use. This area provides a perfect setting for gathering while staying shaded from the heat.
Prairie Creek Park Clean Up: Our members work hard each year to contribute to trash pickup. We strive to keep our parks a beautiful place to visit and enjoy.
Holiday Greenery and Decorations: Prairie Creek Garden Club provides and hangs all the local wreaths and ribbon decor during the holiday season.
You can place your order online and/or make a Prairie Creek Garden Club donation for our 50 years of ongoing special projects and efforts at pcgardenclub.com through Friday, October 2nd. We look forward to your support of the wonderful community in which we live!
All the best,
Prairie Creek Garden Club Board of Directors
