Dear Prairie Creek neighbors,
Each year our local Garden Club offers two seasonal flower sales – one in the fall and one in the spring. And the time has come for our fall sale to begin, which will offer a variety of flowers and bulbs for our community to purchase now through October 1st. Your support not only helps make our neighborhood a beautiful place to live, but it also helps fund future beautification endeavors and projects undertaken by our club.
Our past two sales were offered entirely online, and given their success we have decided to offer this one online as well. You can easily view the available varieties and purchase direct from our website by clicking on the “Flower Sales” tab. We will also continue to provide contactless delivery right to your doorstep.
We are grateful for each and every sale as it enables us to continue our mission to help maintain the footprint of Prairie Creek Park. The Garden Club’s 50-year legacy includes decades of park improvements including: park bridges, walking trails, park plantings, forestry redevelopment, gardening activities for Prairie Creek Elementary, and park upkeep and maintenance.
We wanted to share just a few of our 50 years of special projects and endeavors:
Prairie Creek Park Butterfly Garden
This pocket park provides a natural setting for butterflies to gather and a serene environment for the neighborhood to enjoy. And just this last year, our prior flower sales helped fund the addition of new trees to the front of it. We hope you will stop by soon!
Adjacent to Prairie Creek Elementary, this space was created as an area for teachers and families alike to use. This area provides a perfect setting for gathering while staying shaded from the heat.
Prairie Creek Park Clean Up
Our members work hard each year to contribute to trash pickup, and we already have a couple of club collection efforts planned.
Holiday Greenery and Decorations
Prairie Creek Garden Club provides and hangs all the local stop sign wreaths and ribbon decor displayed during the holiday season.
All the best,
Prairie Creek Garden Club Board of Directors
