Dear Neighbors,
Prairie Creek Garden Club offers two seasonal flower fundraising sales – one in the fall and one each spring. We are pleased to announce that our fall sale is now LIVE, and accepting orders through October 17th. If you’ve wanted to add that “pop” of color into your landscaping, we hope you’ll checkout our online store. Your support helps make our neighborhood a beautiful place to live, and provides funding to aid our club’s future beautification efforts and park projects.
Our current sale can be easily accessed right here on our club’s website by clicking on the “Flower Sale” tab. There you will find current pricing information alongside colorful pictures of each product being sold:
- Pansies are being offered for $17.70 a flat (18 count, 4" pots),
- Cabbage & Kale are in one-gallon pots for $7.00, and
- Spring Bulbs (multiple varieties) for $7.00, $9.00 or $13.00 a dozen.
And it couldn't be more convenient! Orders placed within the neighborhood will be delivered right to your doorstep.
Please know that we are grateful for each and every sale as it enables us to continue our mission to help maintain the footprint of Prairie Creek Park. The Garden Club’s 54-year legacy includes decades of park improvements, including: park bridges, walking trails, park plantings, forestry redevelopment, gardening activities for Prairie Creek Elementary, and park upkeep and maintenance. Please visit our "Projects" tab for additional details on our prior endeavors. Our planting committee has been hard at work trying to refurbish the sign beds at E. Prairie Creek Dr./Fall Creek with more perennials and other spots within the park. Funds generated from this sale will help with that effort (as well as other projects the club is hoping to accomplish in partnership with the City of Richardson).
