Dear Prairie Creek Neighbors,
Each year our local Garden Club offers two seasonal flower sales – one in the fall and one in the spring. We are happy to announce that our fall fundraising sale is currently underway and will run through Tuesday, October 8th. Now is a great time to consider adding that pop of color back into your landscaping. Your support not only helps make our neighborhood a beautiful place to live, but it provides funding for our future beautification efforts and park projects.
This fall’s sale can be easily accessed right here on our club’s website by clicking on the “Flower Sale” tab. There you'll find current pricing information alongside colorful pictures of the products being sold, such as:
- Matrix pansies (multiple colors with and w/out blotch) for $17.70 a flat (18 count, 4" pots),
- White/Red/Purple cabbage & kale in one-gallon pots for $7.00 each, and
- Numerous spring/tulip bulbs for $7.00, $9.00 or $13.00 per dozen.
And it couldn't be more convenient. Orders placed within the neighborhood will be delivered right to your front doorstep.
Please know that we are grateful for each and every sale as it enables us to continue our mission to help maintain the footprint of Prairie Creek Park. The Garden Club’s 53-year legacy includes decades of park improvements, including: park bridges, walking trails, park plantings, forestry redevelopment, gardening activities for Prairie Creek Elementary, and park upkeep and maintenance. With road construction now complete along West Prairie Creek Dr., we plan to work with the City of Richardson to help refurbish some of the park's planting beds.
